About the Artist

Liudmila Sun’s art is refined, luxurious and full of sunshine. Based in Monaco, she captures the transcendent landscapes in “plein air” revealing unique moments of colors and lights.

For oil painting, Liudmila Sun has rediscovered a long lost technique: painting on gold and silver. On the canvas she spreads a thin layer of gold or silver leaves and paints on them: the resulting colors have a gradation of light higher than simple oil paint. Also the renovated traditional palette knife technique for extra fine oil paintings combined
with gilding and symbolism brings the Impressionism Style to a new level of perception.
